The record belongs to the aircraft
Not to the owner’s phone, not to the CAMO’s filing cabinet, not to the group’s WhatsApp. Everyone who flies or fixes the aircraft works in the same record, with the rights their role needs.

Roles per aircraft
Live- Admin
- The owner. Everything, including changing a locked row with a reason.
- Pilot
- Writes techlog rows, reports defects, acknowledges deferrals, uses trips and documents.
- Maintenance
- Your mechanic, shop or CAMO contact. Defers and closes defects, records maintenance events, accepts the AI’s suggestions from work reports.
- Viewer
- Reads and exports. For the co-owner who does not fly, the insurer, the prospective buyer.

Your maintenance crew in the same record
LiveThe maintenance role sees the same live techlog, hours, landings and defect list as the pilots. When the shop emails the CRS, it is filed and linked. When a defect is deferred, the pilots see it before their next flight. Every change is audited with a diff.
One flight, two logbooks
LiveClose the techlog row and ChockOps creates a logbook draft for the PIC and for the second crew member. The roles map correctly: an instructor in the right seat gets FI time and zero landings, the student gets dual time and a countersignature request, an examiner gets examiner time. Night comes from the sun position, cross-country from the route, IFR from the flight rules. Edit or void the techlog and the drafts re-sync.
Notifications
LiveEmail and web push, set per user, per aircraft and per event:
- Flight closed (with the PDF attached)
- Defect opened
- Maintenance due
- Document expiring
- Airworthiness acknowledgement
- Deferral expired
- Trip reply received
- Credential or recency expiring, recency lost
- Logbook drafts pending, signature signed or declined
Emails follow each user’s language.
Countersignature without an account
LiveSend your instructor a signed, expiring link or a QR code. They sign with a finger on their phone and enter their name, certificate number and role. The seal covers the signed fields only: edit one and the signature shows as invalid, revert and it comes back. Also a printable wet-sign PDF.

Shared ownership workspaces
In betaPersonal workspaces for pilots, aircraft workspaces for owners, shared ownership across several people, with database-level isolation between workspaces and the roles owner, pilot, maintenance and viewer. Built; not yet deployed. This is what makes self-serve sign-up possible.
