Pilot logbook
A logbook that fills itself in from the aircraft
One personal logbook per pilot, independent of any aircraft. Entries arrive as drafts from the techlog, from a track or from a photo of your paper logbook. You confirm them. Your instructor signs them from a link. Your recency and expiries are computed, not remembered.

Fields and views
LiveAeroplane, helicopter and FSTD views. Every AMC1 FCL.050 field: single/multi-engine, single/multi-pilot, PIC name or SELF, day and night take-offs and landings as pilot flying, night, IFR actual and simulated, approaches, function times (PIC including solo, SPIC and PICUS; co-pilot; dual; FI; examiner), cross-country, official remarks separated from private notes, helicopter extras, and typed custom properties.
Lifecycle
Liveplanned → estimated → draft → confirmed → signed → locked. Signed and locked entries are never deleted; a change creates a new version.
From the techlog
LiveClose a techlog row and your draft appears, and so does the other pilot’s. Instructor, student and examiner roles are mapped. Night is computed from the sun position with civil twilight, including day and night landings. Cross-country is derived from the route. IFR from the flight rules.

Validity and recency
LiveTwenty-two rules, including:
- Passenger recency day and night (FCL.060)
- SEP, TMG, SET, ME and type revalidation (FCL.740)
- Helicopter type ratings (FCL.740.H), several types, variants
- IR aeroplane and helicopter with FSTD credit, BIR
- LAPL(A) and LAPL(H) recency
- FI, CRI and examiner certificates
- Language proficiency, medical (MED.A.045), night rating
- Theory exam sets (FCL.025)
Alerts at 90, 30, 7 and 0 days, and when recency is lost, with renewal hints.
